Shingo Tokihiro has
organized the groups which were always groping for a new expression such as
"Hana-hi-tsuki-za ", gTorurih and gThe Four Flowersh and also produced the
performances and collaborations. Tokihiro has a
wide field of activity as not only costume designer but also journalist, fashion producer,
coordinator, playwright and essayist. Influenced by
the mystery of the Orient, the allegory, the ancient religion to begin with a myth,
Christianity, Buddhism, literature, and art, Tokihiro has his original view of the world
representing the method of expression and the style with a strong message. Tokihirofs previous book "Hiku-tsuki
Modoru-Taiyo (Dying Moon, Rising Sun)" is published in 1998. |
